WALGREENS BOOTS ALLIANCE, ovvero una delle maggiori catene internazionali operanti nel settore della salute e della bellezza, entra nel MERCATO ITALIANO.

L’ingresso di un gruppo di tali dimensioni è un MOMENTO DI DISCONTINUITÀ in un mercato, come quello italiano, alle prese con una FASE DI PROFONDO RIPENSAMENTO della propria distribuzione, anche per effetto delle NUOVE REGOLE sulle strutture proprietarie delle farmacie.

Ad accompagnare in conferenza i manager del gruppo, ci sono il sindaco di Milano Giuseppe Sala e il numero uno di Confindustria Vincenzo Boccia. Un segnale della decisione con cui il gruppo sbarca sul mercato italiano. Questo segnale di forza dovrebbe alimentare l’idea, nel BEAUTY MADE IN ITALY, che non sia rimandabile a lungo una scossa profonda al sistema.

Le RICERCHE DI MERCATO mostrano che sia sul fronte dell’E-COMMERCE sia su quello dei SOCIAL MEDIA, i marchi nazionali praticamente non esistono. Per questo ritardo ci sono ragioni strutturali, in primo luogo il fatto che la COSMESI ITALIANA è costituita da una molteplicità di piccole e medie aziende manifatturiere, dunque poco visibili al consumatore finale. Ma, attenzione, alla radice c’è anche una RAGIONE DI MENTALITÀ, in particolare sullo sviluppo di marchi propri. È proprio su questo aspetto che sarà necessario lavorare.

L’ASSENZA di marchi propri e, di conseguenza, di Brand riconoscibili, impedisce al BEAUTY MADE IN ITALY di giocarsi quella che potrebbe essere la migliore carta da giocare: opporre alla strapotenza RETAIL delle MULTINAZIONALI una convinta presenza online.

Se, fino ad oggi, l’Italia della COSMESI ha potuto vivere e produrre lontano dal consumatore finale, oggi però non può permettersi di PERDERE il treno dei nuovi canali.

OLAPLEX, Brand di prodotti professionali per capelli, cerca INVESTITORI.

Il BRAND ha dato il mandato a Financo per esplorare diverse
OPZIONI DI INVESTIMENTO, ma la più appetibile sembra quella
dell’ingresso di un fondo di PRIVATE EQUITY nel capitale societario.

Alcune fonti rivelano che le vendite di OLAPLEX
hanno raggiunto l’anno scorso 100 milioni di dollari.

Nel 2018, OLAPLEX ha vinto una causa contro L’Oreal Uk, accusata
di violare il BREVETTO OLAPLEX con il loro prodotto Smartbond.
L’Oreal ha fatto appello alla decisione della corte e la prossima sentenza
è attesa tra la fine del 2019 e i primi mesi dell’anno successivo.

Purtroppo non esiste nemmeno un MINIMO ACCORDO fra produttori e distributori né di un decalogo che garantisca, a favore dei consumatori, da una parte la QUALITÀ del prodotto e dall'altra la SOSTENIBILITÀ dell'ambiente.

Quel che oggi si vede è solo un po' di MARKETING travestito !

La protezione dell'ambiente è un FATTORE CHIAVE e l'industria deve avere un ruolo guida ed evitare pratiche sleali.
